Японская MK Kashiyama Corp. Занимается разработкой и производством деталей тормозных систем автомобиля: в основном тормозных колодок, накладок и дисков. Основатель компании, Макито Кашияма, до производства занимался продажами автозапчастей в Токио и только в 1960-м году начал делать первые шаги в промышленности. А основную свою продукцию — тормозные колодки — запустил в производство только через 5 лет под маркой MK (по инициалам собственного имени Makoto Kashiyama). Но спустя десятилетие тормозные механизмы Kashiyama в сборе были аккредитованы Японской ассоциацией автомобильных компонентов (JAPA), что дает доступ к заводскому комплектованию всех «японок».Позже началось расширение компании путем строительства двух заводов в самой Японии, одного в Индонезии, приобретения малайзийского Steam Engine Industries Co., организация отдельного направления WINMAX CORP., занимающегося разработками тормозных запчастей для гоночных и раллийных автомобилей. Для европейского рынка получена аккредитация ECE R90 и сертификаты ISO9001 и ISO9002, а на американском рынке компания сотрудничает с MAT Holding.
Колодки Kashiyama для вторичного рынка имеют собственную маркировку.

1991 | Designated by the Head of the Small and Medium Enterprise Bureau as a ‘rationalization model for small and medium enterprises’. |
1994 | Accredited as compliant with German transport ministry safety criteria (ABE) Established MK PRIMA INDONESIA CORP. and began manufacture and sale of brake equipment with in Indonesia, as well as the sale equipment. |
